Sometimes what comes up when we do this work is uncomfortable. Sticky. Perhaps to a degree unexpected, but also a ‘coming home’ of intuitive thought of feelings always known, but not always brought forward. From that we often take comfort. We have innate confidence in some way - that although it can be hard, and dark, that it is the ONLY true way forward.
Don’t get me wrong. My visualisation game is strong. I practice every morning and I know where my life IS heading. And I will get there. But I made a decision that I could be happy, grateful, and present with the life that I have right now too. This is my intention for 2018. When I was 15 I came second in an Australian national public speaking competition with an ode to Australia's ragged bloody heroes. Generosity among strangers can be contagious - you spread a small amount of love to someone you don't know and your emotional and social wellbeing expands and energy grows, and what you give out comes back to you ten fold. Like cosmic karma. Paying it forward comes back in spades.
Decluttering: it's not JUST about clearing physical space. It's about generating space energetically in our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions so that we can be fully engaged.

I talk - A LOT!
Everyone who knows me, knows that I'm a chatter box. I'm an extrovert. The very definition of one. Me? Silent?
But one of the biggest lessons I've learnt over the last few years, has helped me in all the years that I can remember in my life - is that purposeful silence has had a profound affect on my life. Even as a Type A extrovert. Listen in for why purposeful and conscious periods of silence are so good for us.
I often found myself saying about my two year old - he's just so FRANTIC! He never slows down.
He'd race around constantly, and I'd say he was 'full of energy' and that it would be a 'blessing as an adult just harder to manage as a child' and similar phrases to help explain why I was exhausted and frazzled and he was always on the go.
